Summer Special -Peanut Curd Chatni
Hello All.. Zaykedar is finally back in action after a brief period of inactivity :-) And I really want to thank all of you who constantly complained about 'no new posts' which finally sparked my motivation to cook something new ..A BIG THANKS again !!
Though this post is a '2 minute' thing and not a 'recipe' , am quite sure , you guyz surely gonna try this immediately . Till date I have made Chatni's with many permutation combinations, but this one is something i wanted to try for so long as my Nani used to make this. My Nani was one of the best cooks in this world . Her simple recipes always had a huge fan following. The best part of this Chatni is that you can not only relish it as a dip with Pakodas and Paratha's but can also use it as a Spread for making yummy sandwiches in Summers. Take a look at the recipe:

Ingredients
- Roasted Ground Peanut (Shengdana Koot)-1 small katori
- Beaten Curd - 1 katori
- Onion- finely chopped
- Green Chillies-2, finely chopped
- Mustard Seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- Asafoetida
- Salt , Sugar and Red Chilli Powder to taste
- Chopped Coriander
- 3-4 Curry leaves
- Cooking Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Combine beaten curd, salt ,sugar and red chilli powder. Mix it well.
- Add ground peanut , mix well and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add a pinch of asafoetida ,mustard seeds & cumin seeds .Let them splutter. Now add curry leaves , chopped chillies and chopped onion. Saute till the onion becomes transparent.
- Add this seasoning to the peanut-curd mixture and mix well.
- Add chopped coriander and refrigerate for 15-20 mins.
