Hěn hào chī Penne
Hello folks..First of all Thanks to all those who religiously read the blog and appreciate the recipes and also to those who complained about Zaykedar being less active in the last month. I have taken them quite seriously and all set to share new recipes with more enthusiasm the proof of which is the off-beat name which i have given to this Pasta recipe- Hěn hào chī Penne .The name may sound too weird for some and too exotic for others :-) Actually i was surfing a site which mentioned few Chinese food words and phrases and suddenly this word Hěn hào chīc caught my attention which means- Delicious. So this is how the dish got its name :-) Also i found it quite apt as this time i have made the penne in chinese style as i was all set to make the optimum use of the Schezwan sauce made a day before.

Ingredients:
- 1 pack Wheat Penne (250 gms)
- Finely chopped Onion -1 medium bowl
- Chopped Carrot -1 medium bowl
- Finely chopped Capsicum-1 medium bowl
- Finely chopped Cabbage-1 big bowl
- Finely chopped Garlic Cloves -2-3
- Pepper Powder -1/2 tspn
- Schezwan Sauce -1 1/2 tblspn
- Tomato Ketchup -1/2 tblspn
- Chilli Vinegar-1/2 tspn (optional)
- 1 tspn Oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Serves- 2
Method:
- Boil the penne in hot water with little salt , drain and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute till it become light brown.
- Add chopped veggies and saute for 5 mins. Don't overcook , keep them bit crunchy.
- Add schezwan sauce ,tomato sauce and vinegar and mix well.
- Add penne, salt and pepper and stir fry for 5 mins.
- Serve Hot .
