Peanut Garlic Chatni (Dry)

The Indian platter is incomplete without chatni /chutney. Chatni , i guess is the easiest thing on this earth to make. You get a free hand in using a whole hots of ingredients in different combination and believe me this versatility of the ingredients used always contribute towards giving  lift to a plain and simple meal. 
This dry peanut chatni is a perfect accompaniment along with Curd-rice, paratha or even utthapam. Take a look at the recipe:

  • 1 cup dry, roasted and de-skinned Peanuts
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves
  • 4 tspn Chilly Powder (can adjust as per taste)
  • 1 tspn Cumin Seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspn Sugar
  • Comine all ingredients in a blender and grind to a coarse chatni. Chatni is ready !!!
  • Store it in an airtight container.
This chatni can be served on bhakri or roti with some oil. HAPPY COOKING !!
