Sesame -Garlic Pasta
Off late Pasta has become one of our favorite weekend recipes. Dressed in infinite combination of ingredients, you will always see a new avataar of pasta. Till date i have made pasta with different ingredients -but the one in tomato puree remains my favorite. This time I wanted to try a dressing which i had not tried earlier . So thought of using the garlic-sesame combination which are common ingredients for making an authentic maharashtrian curry. Here's the recipe:

- 2 cups boiled Penne Pasta
- 4-6 Garlic Cloves
- 3 tspn Sesame Seeds
- 2 tspn Red Chilly flakes
- 1 medium Red Bell Pepper-finely chopped
- 1 small Onion-finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Cauliflower Florets
- Salt to taste
- 1 tspn Pepper Powder
- 1 1/2 tspn oil
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Method:
- Toast the sesame seeds and grind them with garlic cloves to coarse mixture . Keep a spoon of this mixture aside. Add some water to remaining mixture and grind to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Saute the chopped bell peppers , cauliflower florets and onions .
- Add red chilly flakes and pepper powder. Cook for a minute.
- Add the boiled pasta , sesame-garlic paste and salt.Mix well.
- Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and 1/2 tspn garnishing of the remaining sesame-garlic mixture.
