Kairi Kesar Panha
Ingredients:
- 1 big Raw Mango
- Sugar -as required
- Cardamom Powder -1 tspn
- Black salt to taste
- Few Saffron (kesar)strands soaked in water
- Roasted cumin powder (optional)
Serves: 5-6
Method:
- Pressure cook raw mango.
- Let it cool down . Remove the skin and churn the pulp in a mixer for a smooth texture.
- In a bowl , mix the pulp , sugar(usually for a sour mango, the quantity of sugar to be added is just double the quantity of mango pulp) , cardamom powder , soaked saffron strands, black salt and cumin powder.
- Stir well.
- Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
- For making the drink, take 1 tblspn panna, add 3/4th glass water , few ice cubes and few lemon drops. Refreshing kairi panha is ready in just few minutes !!
